| Closed. About The Contest-IPC 2009 is calling for images that are able to generate society concern and raise public awareness of present day life issues. As we intend to enhance the quality of the competition, IPC 2009 executed an open contest using this concept.
In line with our vision and mission, we are eager to bring IPC 2009 up to the next level. We believe that photography was no longer simply hobbies and that photos can actually convey many messages. Photos as part of arts have become one of the strongest and the most widely-used visual communication tools to convey messages. We expect that people are "aware" of the issues or messages presented in the photo itself and of what is going on in the world around them.
Through this event, we intend to promote visual communication in order to emphasize the world awareness value. We would like to show that we are both aware of and care for the world and living and encourage as many parties/people as possible to together with us, put this idea into reality.
In the end, we expect that the life issues captured in your photos will be able to generate general community awareness, which can encourage people who are exposed to the photos to show their sense of care among the society.
